Where is Dovid based, and how far does he travel?
Dovid is based in the New York and New Jersey metro area and performs regularly throughout the region. He also travels — he has performed across the United States, in Israel, Europe and South America. If your event is further afield, ask; the answer is usually yes.

What does it cost to book Dovid?
It depends on the date, the location and how much of the event you'd like him to sing. Send us the date, the location and your overall music budget, and we'll come back with a quote.

Can Dovid sing for only part of a wedding?
Yes. Most couples book him for the whole wedding, while others book him for the chuppah alone. Tell us which parts of the evening you have in mind and we'll quote exactly for that.

How far in advance should we book?
As early as you can. Wedding season and the weeks around Yom Tov fill up first, June to August are the busiest months, and the Yamim Noraim are usually taken months ahead. That said, it's always worth asking about a date even at short notice.

Does Dovid daven for the amud on Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur?
Yes. He has led Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur davening for seven years for kehillos throughout the United States, and davens in Nusach Ashkenaz, Sefard and Ari. Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur 5787 are booked; he is taking bookings for the rest of 2026 and for 2027, along with Shabbos and Yom Tov davening and school shabbatons.

Are instrumental and karaoke tracks available?
Yes — $50 per song, paid by card and downloaded straight away. See the instrumentals page for the full list.

Does Dovid perform outside the United States?
Yes. He has performed in Israel, across Europe and in South America, as well as throughout the US. Your quote will include the cost of travel and lodging where necessary.

Can Dovid record a personal video message?
Yes — order one through Dovid's Cameo page. It's a popular choice for a birthday, a simcha, or someone who could use a lift.

Does Dovid come with musicians, or do we book a band separately?
Not specifically. Dovid works with many great bands and can connect you with one, or help put a band together for your simcha. He works with bands across a wide range of price points and styles, so there is something to fit most budgets. If you have already booked a band, he will work with them.
